Jobgetty rewrites your CV and cover letter for a specific posting — keeping your voice and telling your story — improves your ATS score for AI job scanners, exports ATS-friendly PDF and Word files, finds relevant jobs, tracks applications, and prepares you for the interview (including a live mock-interview mode).

You can use the CV and cover-letter editor without an account. Signing in unlocks the CV library, cover-letter library, application history, interview prep, saved jobs, trash bin and multi-device sync.

The interface is available in English, German, French and Italian. Generated documents can be produced in any of these languages, independently of the interface language.

Open the Profile tab → Language card, or use the language dropdown in the top header. Your choice is remembered per device.

Open the CV editor tab, paste or upload your current CV (PDF/DOCX), paste the job description or a job URL, click Analyze, then Generate CV. Export as PDF or Word.

In the CV editor click 'Upload CV' or drag a PDF/DOCX into the CV field. When signed in, tick 'Save uploaded CV to my profile library' to keep it for future applications.

Use the CV format picker to select a layout. Colors (accent, headings, body, background) can be overridden per template in the same picker.

ATS (Applicant Tracking System) templates use a single-column, high-contrast layout with plain section headings so automated parsers read them reliably. Photos are omitted by default; you can force a photo per CV.

Yes — every extracted field is editable. Use the Save button next to Contact person, Recipient address and Company location to persist your edit.

Open the 'Cover letter & ATS score generator' tab, make sure a CV and job description are loaded, then click Generate cover letter. Choose a format, edit if needed, and export.

After generating, click Save on the cover-letter card. It joins your Application history and shows up in the Cover-letter library under Profile.

Yes — from the Application history or the Cover-letter library (Profile tab), click Rename and update the job title/company.

The Matching tab searches multiple boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, Xing, Coople, Jobup, Jobscout24, Jobwinner and more) using your keywords + region and scores each posting against your CV for ATS fit.

Each daily job alert you set up runs once every 24 hours, early in the morning (around 07:00–08:00 Swiss time). New matches are ranked by ATS fit and are waiting in the Job matching tab with a green "new" badge the next time you sign in; if the email digest is switched on for that alert, the email goes out in the same run. You can also press "Check now" on any alert to refresh the results immediately.

Yes — the Save button on each posting stores it (including contact person and company address) so you can reuse it in the CV editor tab to generate a tailored CV/cover letter.

Every generated CV/cover letter is stored as an application entry with job title, company, company address, ATS score, applied date and status (applied / interview / offer / rejected).

Yes — click 'Load' on any history entry and the CV, cover letter and metadata are restored into the editor.

When you scrape a job URL, the address is auto-filled and stored on the application entry so it appears in your history.

The Interview tab generates 10+ likely interviewer questions with suggested STAR answers based on your CV and the saved job description.

Yes — open the Interview tab, pick an application, then click 'Mock interview'. You can choose general warm-up questions, your saved generated interviewer questions, or both. Camera + mic are required; the recording is saved to your device for offline playback.

Yes — use the delete button on the prep card; a confirmation dialog protects against accidental deletion.

Profile tab → Personal information. Save each field with the inline Save button; changes are stored in your account.

Profile tab → Appearance. Customise background, foreground and primary colors. Preferences are saved to your device.

Profile tab → Sign out button, or the sign-out control in the header.

They move to Profile tab → Trash bin (at the bottom of the Profile tab) where you can restore them or delete them permanently.

Soft-deleted items stay in the Trash bin for 30 days by default. After that they may be purged automatically.

No — 'Delete forever' cannot be undone. A confirmation dialog protects against accidental purges.

Jobgetty Chat answers questions about every feature, streams answers live, and can navigate you to tabs (e.g. 'take me to job matching') or open the FAQ.

Your last 30 chat turns are cached in this browser only (localStorage). Reset the conversation from the header of the chat panel any time.

Only you. Every database row is protected by row-level security scoped to your user ID — no other user can read your documents.

No. Your CV and job descriptions are sent to the AI provider only to generate your document, and are not used for training. We do not sell personal data.

Authentication uses hashed passwords with leaked-password checks against Have I Been Pwned, secure HTTP-only session cookies, HTTPS everywhere, and rate-limiting against brute-force attempts.

Yes — contact support or use the account deletion flow on the profile page. This removes your profile, CVs, applications and generated documents.

In a managed PostgreSQL database hosted in the EU. Uploaded CV files live in a private, per-user storage bucket that requires an authenticated request scoped to you.

Only what you enter: profile fields (name, contact, address), your CVs and cover letters, saved job postings, and application notes. Minimal auth/audit logs are kept for security.

Only strictly necessary cookies for authentication and a few optional preferences (language, theme). No advertising or tracking cookies.
